Meet The Poet

With parent poets like Alan Ginsburg and Sylvia Plath, Kiley does not stray from hard truths or the covert, malleable metaphors that find their place in beat and confessional poetry. With an appreciation for feminist, mythological, and capital “R” romanticist themes, she finds her home in the mindfulness of the macabre honesty of human existence, knowing that even the hardest of experiences have value.

Kiley received the St. Norbert College literary awards honorable mention for her poem “A Supermarket in Hubertus” in 2025 and recently won second place for her collection of “kill your darlings” and other poems. Her works have also been published in Anemone Magazine.
